Central Coast Nutrition

I recently developed Central Coast Nutrition web site which debuted January 2007. The site has been live and provided a generous gain in traffic from new clients. The shopping cart abandonment has dropped considerably due in part to the new interface and usability. This launch was phase 1 of 3 and the last will wrap up late this year.

Second phase is underway now and will concentrate on search engine optimization. A third phase will gear towards an affiliate program, yet cost analysis in underway to determine how to effectively manage this channel. There were two major objectives to meet. First to get the web site off of the Yahoo e-commerce package which lacked flexibility. The second was to build a search-engine friendly web site that could increase the conversion rate. So far, objectives have been met. However, the final product will finally be complete within a year’s time of part-time work on my end. When it comes to marketing ads on the Internet, one has to be on top of their game all the time.

As a web site producer, I’m only as successful as my clients. The Internet is getting bigger and much more complex with every keyword imaginable under SEO and SEM managed services. A well built web site that is flexible enough to tweak comes down to a science. Stay tuned for a progress report on Central Coast Nutrition in the near future.
