The acai recipes are well known for great taste. This is because the acai berry itself is very healthy and most of the recipes have you add other healthy fruits and ingredients. Of course look at the variety of products on the market, most juice drinks have acai as an ingredient, not the top ingredient at that. However, with this added taste comes the benefit. Many juices have a funny aftertaste, kind of a chemical film. I believe the acai berry added to the mix helps combat that by giving a coated chocolaty after taste. Okay, not all but if you have experienced acai then you’ll know what I mean.

Basically, whatever ingredients you have lying around the house, you can use in the acai berry cocktails. Most people like to add peach, mango, apricot, pineapple, banana, and many other fruits, along with yogurt.

If you want to try something new with your beverages, try some acai recipes and you will be surprised at how great you FEEL, more ways than one!
