Twitter…just that real

It often runs through my brain how much time some people have to write it all down. Thanks for sharing the story about your wife in the hospital and how she almost died and now your in the hospital and may die…just one person’s life who wants to follow me. The below video is pretty dang funny.

Check this video out!

MSNBC and Google

I don’t want to sound too off base, but this morning I happened to come across MSNBC show and they reported on a situation in Pakistan. As the newscaster presented the story, a map zoomed in providing a visual effect for the location. The funny thing was the map had a Google logo. Again, not to sound to off base but isn’t MSNBC a Microsoft product?

MSNBC and Google Together

If so, don’t you think the editor/producer would think twice about adding a competitor name on the program. Well, my opinion is this show should be reviewed and everyone responible should be on notice. That is, notice being the awareness of the brand and of course the competition. There are enough images from Microsoft to supply graphical footage to a news report.

So, I would love to know if there was a specific reason as to why MSNBC would use a Google image and provide credit. Market share and brand recognition is a game played 24/7 due to the ever evolving Internet. I’m sure most people didn’t recognize or make the association delima, I did. Keep the brand and associations under control and watch the noobs controlling the video editing.

I’m sure there’s a reason…mine would be to do anything to keep the Google brand from displaying! It’s called brand management and control at all levels.
